The settlements have been declared illegal by the UN's highest court, and the report raises concerns about the human rights impacts of these business activities.

The updated list includes 68 new companies, bringing the total to 158, with additions such as German cement maker Heidelberg Materials, which disputes its inclusion. The UN has called on all listed businesses to address and remediate any adverse human rights impacts. Neither the listed accommodation firms nor Israeli officials provided immediate comment on the report.

The accommodation platforms listed did not immediately respond to Reuters' requests for comment. Israel, which cites biblical and historical ties to the West Bank, disputes the 2024 UN court ruling on settlements. Most of the international community takes the UN view on the settlements. The Israeli embassy in Geneva did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the latest report.
