The search for a military veteran suspected of fatally shooting four people at a Montana bar has stretched into its fifth day. Authorities in Anaconda have increased the reward for information leading to his arrest.

Montana state and local officials have increased the reward to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest of Michael Paul Brown, who is suspected of killing four people at the Al Bar in Anaconda. Brown, last seen without shoes and wearing shorts, is believed to have since acquired more clothing and remains at large in the Anaconda area. Authorities have released a recent photo of Brown and confirmed that multiple weapons were found at his home. Residents are being urged to remain on high alert, as law enforcement believes Brown is still armed and in the vicinity. Some acquaintances have noted Brown's history of mental health issues, possibly linked to his military service.

The governor of Montana and the State Attorney General along with other state and local law enforcement had a press conference here in Anaconda. Two information nuggets that we took from this. The ward is up to $10,000 for any information that leads to the arrest of the suspect and they're also saying that the last concrete time they saw Michael Paul Brown was on Friday. Keep in mind this all started last Friday when investigators say he went into the Al Bar and started shooting. He killed four people, a bartender and three patrons. He's been on the run since now. Investigators did release a photo showing him looking very thin. He was didn't have shoes on. He was wearing just shorts but they think he has been able to get some clothes while he was fleeing officers. They believe he's still in the Anaconda area. Now there are several residents and people who knew him that we talked to who say that he did have a history of mental health and they think it may be tied partially to his service in the army and in the state National Guard. Uh interesting note though and we want to reiterate this. This is something that law enforcement told us they still believe that he is in the area and that he is armed. They say at his home they did find multiple weapons but they're telling residents here to remain on high alert until he's caught back to you. Omar Villafranca. Thank you.
