Our collectors can go to home, collect patient sample at their home for people who cannot afford to either because if they don't have time or because of their mobility cannot reach a blood collection center. Medicare rebates for pathology tests like blood tests have not increased since 1999. The launch of Wise Pathology comes as a campaign by Australia's peak pathology body continues, calling for the government to increase funding in the sector. We being a very new pathology company are feeling that pain because we want to do more, give more value to our patients and sometimes it's limiting because of the funding available. Australian Pathology says an estimated 70% of all medical treatment decisions rely on pathology results. Their campaign calling for an extra six hundred and thirty million dollars for providers over four years. Pathology is under threat and needs more funding to remain bulk built. We need our voice to be heard. For pathology patients like Felipe Hogan here at Wise specialist emergency clinic, the flexibility of late opening hours until 10 p.m. seven days a week makes having a blood test easier to fit in around his work and family schedule. It was nice and quick and yeah I've been told that the results will arrive to my doctor in within 24 hours.
