All right, excitement for the FIFA World Cup is growing. It is the largest, most inclusive World Cup in history, with 48 teams competing for the first time across three host countries, Canada, Mexico, and of course, the United States. And here, representing all three regions, we have the World Cup mascots. We have Maple the Moose from Canada, also Zayu the Jaguar from Mexico, and Clutch the Bald Eagle from the United States. And of course, Soccer Hall of Famer, three-time World Cup champ on the U.S. Men's National Team, Kobe Jones here in studio. Welcome, welcome to all of you mascots, too. This is so exciting. All right, the mascots represent so much, right, for the World Cup. They symbolize a lot of unity here. Tell us all about these mascots. Well, it's fantastic, as you said, that they're ambassadors for each country and also ambassadors for the World Cup. And they're gonna be at all the different venues across the three different regions. And as you said, they're a representation of the unity of Canada, Mexico, and the United States working together during this World Cup, which is the first time you're having three host nations. So this is something special, something new, something different. Something new, something different, but you're a veteran. I mean, you've performed, you've played in three World Cups. How is this time around gonna be so different? Well, I think when you look at this World Cup, I mean, everyone talks about my first World Cup was in 94, and you're talking about 24 teams. Now, in this next World Cup in 26, we're talking about 48 teams, so we're doubling the size. I'm hoping we're gonna be doubling, tripling, quadrupling the numbers as well. We're talking about, what is it, six million actual people coming to the various stadiums to see all the games, and over five billion people worldwide. It just tells you that this is growing and getting more and more exciting. Yeah, the sport is growing, the interest is growing. This is the most popular sport played in the world, right? And now being here in the United States, what a stage we have set. What are you looking forward to the most right here in LA? Well, in LA, I'm looking forward to, obviously, the United States on June 12th having their opening game. That's gonna be probably the biggest and most exciting moment if you're an American fan, because that sets the tone for the rest of the tournament. And then their third game, they're gonna be playing back here at SoFi Stadium, so that's gonna be something special. At SoFi, there's actually eight total games. So, I mean, you're gonna have a lot of opportunity, and we'll find out who else is gonna be playing here when we have the draw on December 5th. Yes, we're excited for that, of course. How's the US team looking? Because a lot of fans, of course, wanna see the big stars. We have Lionel Messi, Ronaldo, but there's some up-and-comers coming up you wanna keep an eye out for. Yeah, I mean, for me, of course, I'm gonna be focusing on the United States. That's what I do. I mean, I don't even know you can say an up-and-comer, but someone that has really established himself. But now you wanna see, can he catapult himself into those big names? And that, of course, is Christian Pulisic. He's the big star in the United States right now. He's gonna have to be the leader of this US team because, you know, everyone's talking about him, so a lot of weight on the shoulders. Captain America, let's go!
