A Melbourne man seriously injured in a deadly shooting in Bali has been identified as the ex-partner of Roberta Williams' daughter. Sanar Ghanim, 34, has a child with Danielle Stephens - the daughter of Roberta and stepdaughter of late gangland figure Carl Williams.

A Melbourne man, Zivaan Radmavanick, was shot and killed in Kuta, Bali, after an ambush targeting two Australian men. Radmavanick's wife reported hearing gunshots and witnessing the aftermath, while another man, Sanaa Ghanim, survived the attack. Indonesian police are searching for two suspects, described as wearing helmets and speaking with strong Australian accents. The motive for the attack remains unclear, and Victoria Police has stated it is supporting the ongoing investigation with local authorities.

She heard more shots ring out and screams. Ghanim is believed to be the ex-partner of Roberta Williams' daughter, Danielle Stephens, and was jailed over his role in a 2014 non-fatal shooting in Melbourne. It appears that these shooters have done their homework in relation to finding these people. Why someone wanted them dead is still unclear. His past associations may not have anything to do with this at all. The fact of the matter is that's a past clan that's happened, the Williams clan is pretty much defunct, you don't hear much of Roberta Williams these days. Radmavanick's wife claims she saw the shooter as she peeked from under a duna. When they left she checked her husband's pulse but realising he couldn't be saved, she went to Mr Ghanim and helped him to his feet. You can imagine situations such as this highly volatile, they run in, they're highly octane with the adrenaline and they're rushing out and hopefully by chance that they've missed her and leaving her alive. Tonight police are still looking for the hitmen, both were wearing helmets. Police have been told they spoke to each other in strong Australian accents. Victoria Police has acknowledged the fatal shooting saying its investigators will continue to provide support to partner agencies.
