While there, he says he plans to meet with government officials, tech leaders and economic strategists. The mayor also says he's going to promote combating antisemitism. We know hate has no place in our country and in other countries across the globe. While the mayor's trip to Israel may be trying to send a subtle message to his successor, Mayor-Elec Zoran Mamdani has repeatedly been criticized for being antisemitic, a charge he has denied. Mamdani has been a vocal critic of Israel and the war in Gaza. He even threatened to have Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrested if he came to New York City. Morgan McKay sat down with Mamdani during an exclusive interview today. Do you plan to arrest Netanyahu on your first day? So my plan on my first day is to become sworn in as the next mayor of New York City and start to deliver on an affordability agenda. I've said time and again, this is a city of international law, a city that believes in those values, and one that should honor the warrants that have been issued by the International Criminal Court, be it for Vladimir Putin or Benjamin Netanyahu. Sounds like a pivot, right? Not sure. Okay, well, we'll find out.
