Lewis Hamilton, Leclerc's Ferrari teammate, qualified in 12th place and was openly critical of his own performance, a notable contrast to his previous record of nine pole positions at the Hungaroring. The result sets up an intriguing race, with Leclerc leading from the front and Hamilton looking to recover from a challenging start.
