This is not your homeland. Our next stop was a well-to-do neighborhood in northwestern Tehran. Three floors of this apartment building were blown out by an Israeli airstrike eyewitnesses told us. According to Iranian state TV the apparent target of the Israeli strike was Dr. Mohamed Mehdi Tehranji, a prominent academic and nuclear physicist. He and his wife were among those who were killed. Mohamed Ewazi lives in the building next door. What did you see? People came out to the street and we saw bodies that had been blown out from the building next door. And Iran's foreign minister has said if President Trump wants a nuclear deal with Tehran as he said he does that he should do away with his quote unacceptable tone towards the country's supreme leader. Mr. Trump who cast serious doubt on any diplomatic progress also said this week he would quote absolutely consider bombing Iranian nuclear sites again if he thought it necessary.

It was not clear if Hamas’ statement meant it had accepted the proposal from US President Donald Trump for a 60-day ceasefire.
