The U.S. House of Representatives is scheduled to vote on legislation that would require the release of the Epstein files. President Trump, who had previously opposed the move and labeled it a Democratic hoax, has now expressed support for releasing the documents, stating on social media that House Republicans should vote in favor because there is "nothing to hide."

Trump's reversal follows pressure from the House Oversight Committee, which led the Department of Justice to turn over tens of thousands of pages related to the case. The president also called for a new investigation into Epstein's alleged ties to prominent Democrats, including former President Bill Clinton, and major financial institutions. A spokesperson for Clinton stated that released emails prove Clinton had no involvement or knowledge regarding Epstein.
