Fantastic to see the crowds come out the way they have. We had wonderful support in England but this is just unreal. I think it's finally sinking in that we are the World Test champions and this will be a good stepping stone for the next ODI World Cup in 2027 in South Africa. The win against Australia ended the Proteas' 27 year trophy drought. I think we're proud obviously as a team that we've been able to achieve something like this. But we're even more happier and prouder that we've made our people proud and I think the biggest thing, I mean you look at our team, you look at the guys at home, we've done it the proper South African way and I think that's something that I think is unique to this group is that we've embraced everything that means to be South African. Hundreds of sports fans from all over the province transformed the airport into a festival of celebration with vuvuzelas, a band and singing.
