Other notable results included Niyaz Bilalov's win in the under-100kg division and Hyunji Lee's first Grand Prix gold in the plus 78kg category, achieved with a swift attack and hold-down. Gonchix Yoren Batcoyag also earned his first Grand Prix gold in the plus 100kg category. Abuzov had an incredible day and took home the gold medal from his very first World Judo Tour appearance. A remarkable debut to announce himself on the international stage. Harvest Group CEO Mr Almaz Alsinov awarded the medals. In the under-78kg category, Audrey Chameo faced Elizaveta Litvinenko. The contest was taken into golden score, where Chameo managed to get a yuko score, propelling her to her eighth Grand Prix gold. A display of experience and determination from the French veteran, proving why she remains a force to be reckoned with. IJF General Treasurer Mr Nasser Al-Tamimi awarded the medals. I'm feeling good. It's been a long time I'm not winning in competition since Paris, and I'm very happy to win here. At minus 100kg, Nasser Al-Tamimi took the gold medal At minus 100kg, Niyaz Bilalov faced Veg Zombor. With a yuko each on the board, a wazari near the end of the contest for Bilalov earned him the top spot on the podium. A well-earned victory on the final day in Qingdao. IJF Head Sport Director Mr Vladimir Barta awarded the medals. In the plus 78kg category, Hyunji Lee faced Lea Fontaine. A fantastically quick attack in the first 20 seconds of the contest saw Lee score a wazari and transition into a hold-down for the Ippon. Her first gold medal in a Grand Prix won in style. IJF Education and Coaching Director Mr Mohamed Maridja awarded the medals. At plus 100kg, Gonchix Yoren Batcoyag faced Marius Faisal. Batcoyag managed a wazari throw and transitioned into a hold-down to score wazari Awazeti Ippon for his first Grand Prix gold. A strong finish.
