Meanwhile, in York, England, the city is embracing its reputation for ghostly tales and haunted history, with locals recounting stories of Roman soldiers and claiming York as one of the most haunted cities in Europe. These festivities highlight the enduring appeal of Halloween and the diverse ways communities mark the occasion.

You've heard of haunted houses, but what about a zombie car wash? The inspiration came about during covid when most Halloween events ended up canceled, and it's proved so popular that the tradition has carried on. I think it's a lot of fun. Yeah, we've been to a lot of spooky stuff this season, and I think this is by far the scariest. Across the U.S., fans of jump scares and things that go bump in the night are putting up their spookiest decor in Los Angeles. Jasmine and Chris Bryant go all out for the holiday. We had one year a woman drove by every day. Just she's like, I just like to come by every day, read the tombstone. While in Wisconsin, Jodi Farran has recreated a tableau of the Addams family with Gomez and Morticia, Wednesday, Uncle Fester and even Cousin It. We have working cannons. For the Blackstones, it's the pirates life for their Halloween house. They started the display back in 2018. Who goes there? And each year, they've added new features that keep the neighborhood kids coming back. It turns out that most of the kids that show up here are more interested in firing off the cannons than they are in grabbing their candy. Not to be outdone across the pond. England is capitalizing on its long history with the eerie and the macabre. The city of York celebrating its ghostly tales and spooky sightings. It was in there in 1953 that my friend was working. But from out of a wall in front of him, stepped a Roman soldier. He screamed, fell off his ladder, scampered into a corner and watched as at least 20 Roman soldiers walked through this wall. Locals claim York is the most haunted city in Europe. Visit if you dare.
