According to media reports, a deal mediated by Qatar over the release of some 50 hostages, maybe more, would include several days of ceasefire, the entry of more humanitarian aid, including fuel, and the release of dozens of Palestinian prisoners held in Israel, mainly minors and women. On Monday, Qatar and US President Joe Biden confirmed a deal is in the cards.
