The next storm system will bring the chance for heavy rain and a few severe storms to the Southern Plains mid to late week. A few severe storms could produce large hail from Dallas and Fort Worth back toward Abilene and San Angelo Wednesday night into Thursday. Heaviest rain will set up across Central Texas Thursday into Friday morning.
