On the University of Montreal's home field, kids develop their flag football skills with the help of some pros. I love this sport, I played last year in the summer and it's like a passion now. The CFL's Montreal Alouettes leading this camp for kids between the ages of 10 and 17. I used to be a flag guy so being able to come back and give back to the community is always a blessing to do and drop jewels on the younger kids so they can learn how to progress their game is always a good feeling. Players here are learning real game situations from this playbook, from the huddle to the formation to actually running the play and catching the ball like this. So doing these things, it's more for fun, I'm here, it's a nice day, we're just having fun with friends and meeting new people. I'm learning new experiences with other people, I've been playing with boys for the first time. Football's growing appeal is linked to its upcoming Olympic debut at the 2028 Los Angeles Games. We've never had a football sport in the Olympics. While professionals are allowed to play at the Olympics, the games conflict with the CFL season, leaving some doubt. But this Montreal Alouettes defensive lineman says if he got the call to play for Team Canada, he would accept in a heartbeat. I think the first one merits a pretty good bang and I would love to be a part of that history. Football Quebec says these camps also help them find talent for the provincial and national teams. It's getting there, I think it's getting there, like what we saw from Team Nationals, there's like 22 selections from Quebec and a few from out of Canada, so I think Alberta's getting there, Saskatchewan's getting there, yeah, I can't wait to see the next championship.
