A young man, Joshua, with so much promise, had a dream to venture in agricultural field and contributed to the agricultural business after completing his internship in Israel. But the dream was cut short by this, by his brutal killing by Hamas that fateful day. Indeed, his loss is devastating and deeply felt not only to the family, but also to the government and the peoples of Tanzania. There are now just three remaining deceased hostages still in Gaza. Israeli authorities have been exchanging the bodies of Palestinians for the remains of hostages, as efforts to account for all those taken on October 7 continue. About 250 Israeli and non-Israeli civilians and soldiers were taken to the Gaza Strip. Meanwhile, the ceasefire in Gaza is largely holding, offering a rare moment of calm. But tensions remain high elsewhere. Israel is carrying out strikes on what it says are Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon, while IDF raids continue across parts of the occupied West Bank.
