The attackers forced entry, assaulted and restrained a mother, her daughter, and two sons, and stole approximately $140,000 in cash and jewellery. During the incident, a 21-year-old was knocked unconscious, and a BB gun was reportedly pointed at a 29-year-old. The intruders may have worn clothing with police logos, raising concerns about impersonation. Police are investigating whether the attack was random or targeted and are working with the community to prevent further incidents.

I see my neighbour coming, knock on the door, help, help, help. Everyone put the mask and wearing the black clothes, so no one see him. Police are now investigating whether this was a random smash and grab or not. They're trying to piece together exactly what the message was, by who and whom it was for. I hope the community can take solace in the fact that the police are out there, we are actively engaging with the community and out in force to try and prevent further incidents like this occurring.
