Exchange of fire continues on Israel-Lebanon border

Continued strikes throughout the day yesterday, claiming, Hezbollah claiming responsibility for at least three, with multiple others unclaimed, potentially by other factions inside southern Lebanon. The IDF has yet to confirm if there was damage or any injuries in yesterday's strikes. So far today, relatively quiet in comparison, although there's still time for that to change. As we've seen, strikes, multiple strikes daily targeting these northern communities, many of which have been evacuated. These evacuation notices are going to stay in place for weeks, potentially even months, as the defense minister tells us that this is the plan here, that until Hezbollah is moved above the Latani River and it honors UNSC 1701, the United Nations Security Council Agreement 1701, that until that happens, that the evacuation order will stay in place. What does that look like? Potential diplomatic success pushing Hezbollah and its proxies north of the river, or even a modified agreement with somewhat of a buffer between southern Lebanon and northern Israel, a demilitarized space, at least for Hezbollah, with the United Nations and the Lebanese Armed Forces, the LAF, remaining, providing the security in southern Lebanon.
