It claims to go further on a single charge than its competitors, its closest only 15 Ks behind. But this comes at a time when EV brands are being scrutinised by industry experts for performance discrepancies. And while this isn't unique to EVs, in this case they claim battery ranges are falling short of advertised on-road capability. We had one model that was almost consistent with the lab test results at a 5% difference, but we also saw one at a quite significant gap of 23%. Newly compiled data shows range anxiety is one of the biggest barriers for EV uptake in regional communities where motorists travel greater distances. We will meet those challenges and we continue to roll out that charging, but we don't have enough yet, but that work continues.
