News agencies regularly check the veracity of images, amidst concerns over doctoring and fake AI photographs. The princess issued a mea culpa on social media. Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing. I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused. I hope everyone celebrating had a very happy Mother's Day. With the princess absent from royal duties until at least Easter, Kensington Palace has refrained from providing details over her health, citing her right to privacy. But it has confirmed she's doing well. Meanwhile, the palace has also had to juggle the absence of King Charles, who's not been able to carry out public duties due to a cancer diagnosis.
