Despite multiple shots being fired into a residence, no injuries were reported, and no one was home at the time. The suspects were apprehended and taken into custody, and local residents expressed relief at the arrests.

Firing multiple shots into the premises, it was to severely injure if not kill somebody. When police first arrived, they feared the worst, riot squad officers storming inside the Earl Street house, but no one was home or hurt. Neighbours around here had been off doing school drops, and so when they came home, this is what they found. The people in the house down the road there had only moved in around six or seven months ago, and largely kept to themselves. It makes you feel beyond safe. Instantly I was like, oh my god, another one. Why another one? Because it happened last week, there was an incident in the street with the car that went on fire.
