A rare alignment of seven planets will be visible in the sky, with the phenomenon peaking just after sunset. The planets will appear in a line along the ecliptic, the path followed by the sun, moon, and planets due to the solar system's orbital plane.

Mars, Jupiter, Venus, Mercury, and Saturn can be seen without optical aids, while Uranus and Neptune will require binoculars or a telescope. The best views are expected for those with a clear sightline to the western horizon, provided weather conditions are favorable.

What people will notice is that all the planets will be lined up almost like pearls on a string across the sky.
