The Los Angeles Dodgers claimed victory in a historic Game 3 of the World Series against the Toronto Blue Jays. The game, which lasted over six and a half hours and went into 18 innings, saw the Blue Jays take a late lead before Shohei Ohtani tied the game with his second home run of the night.

Freddie Freeman ended the contest with a walk-off home run, becoming the first player in history with multiple World Series walk-off homers. Ohtani's performance was notable, as he reached base nine times and tied a postseason record for a single game. The Dodgers' bullpen used 19 pitchers in a team effort to secure the win.

Game three of the World Series was absolutely amazing because it was actually two games in one. It started just after five o'clock Pacific time. It didn't end until almost midnight. An instant World Series classic. The Blue Jays jumped ahead in the seventh and were looking to steal Game 3 in L.A. But minutes later Showtime show Hey Ohtani hero of the playoffs blasted home run number two to tie it up and send the game into extra innings. Nineteen pitchers took the mound in all and after six hours and thirty nine minutes. Another history making moment in the bottom of the 18th. Freddie Freeman walks it off. The first player in history with multiple World Series walk off homers when you grind and fight in our bullpen and our pitching staff did what they did to have that go six hours and 40 minutes or so. It's as good as it gets. While the celebrations are certainly warranted the Dodgers couldn't party too hard. This is a team effort. And hey so enjoy it out of it. But we got a game later today. All right. Hey we got a game later today. Oh my God. Six year old Teddy cashed out at about the seventh inning. I cashed out about the 10th inning. He made it to the 14th. Really. I was able to make it all the way. Wow. It's crazy. I mean it's the second longest game in World Series history only behind Game 3 of the 2018 World Series between the Red Sox and you guessed it the Dodgers L.A. also won that game in 18 innings but lost the series in five games. Oh Tony really the story last night check out these numbers four for four two home runs five walks at a certain point they were like we're not pitching to him no more. It's done. He reached base nine times overall tying a postseason record for a single game. And guys he is slated to pitch tonight. No way. I'm not much rest. No way. I know I know when they say listen we have a game later today. I know you're exhausted but you know you must get a second win as an athlete when you get a win that big. Definitely. That's my locker room feeling. What's amazing to me actually Dave Roberts the coach of the manager of the Dodgers he says the same thing I say to my six year olds on the weekend. Hey each and every one of you have something to be proud about. Each and every one of you contributed to this win. And it's true when you play that long. You know it's unbelievable because showy Ohtani is making his mark and he's also staking his claim as one of the greatest not just of his era but maybe of all time. Maybe of all time. True. He was smiling. I know smiling. So stoic and locked in while kicking. But that's for sure.
