And tonight's weekend journal CBS is Brady Howe live in Sacramento meets a couple getting people talking over long distance, a very long distance. 12,000 miles through all 50 states is a long way for page and torn Bruce. This journey is worth it. Some days you walk up mountains, some days you walk through the rain, some days you talk to over 100 people, you never know what you're going to get. Yeah, what started as a simple adventure to see America's beauty has turned into something much deeper, a mission to connect a divided country, one step, one conversation at a time, change hearts and minds, break down some of the walls that are dividing us and build bridges instead. So far they have been to dozens of states now making their way through California from the Canadian border down to Mexico. We've gone from forests to cities so quickly. Along the way, the ruses have been welcomed into hundreds of homes fed by strangers who quickly became friends. They say it's the people they've met that leave the biggest mark. Those moments have restored their faith in humanity. Now they want to share that feeling with others. It's all about training the mind and showing people what we're capable, how much we can change our perspective to be happier, to be more resilient, to be more loving and less judgmental. Good morning everybody. Through their social media posts, they're sharing a simple message. We're seeking to change people within and that will eventually result in the change outside that we're all hoping for. A message they hope travels further than they do.
