Diplomatic efforts continue in a bid to end fighting between Sudan's army and the paramilitary rapid support forces. They began talks in Jeddah on Saturday, brokered by Saudi Arabia and the United States, that aimed to firm up a shaky ceasefire. At the same time, the Arab League met in Cairo to discuss the ongoing situation. As the fighting enters its fourth week, Sudanese continue to flee the country. At Port Sudan, many people are living in makeshift camps as they hope for transport to safety across the Red Sea. We work in three shifts, the morning, the evening and the afternoon. As talks hoping to end the conflict take place, the battle continues in the Sudanese capital, Ketum. Three weeks of fierce fighting has seen hundreds killed and thousands wounded, pushing the country to the brink of collapse.
