Five parties are competing for seats in the National Assembly, including three from the presidential movement and the main opposition, the Democrats. Only three parties are contesting the local elections, and the results will come ahead of the presidential election set for April 12.

Only three parties are vying for ballots in local elections, two are from the presidential movement and one from the opposition. The votes come ahead of a third vote due to take place this year, the presidential election, which is set for the 12th of April.
