Ukrainian authorities believe scenes like this could stop if allies would give the army the weapons it needs to intercept Russian aerial attacks. President Zelensky says his thoughts go out to the victims' families. I have been receiving reports on the tragedy in Chernihiv. My condolences to all those who lost their loved ones. The rescue operation at the site lasted all day and will continue until we find any survivors who may be under the rubble. Chernihiv is still reeling from being partially occupied by Russian forces at the start of the invasion. It may have been two years since they vacated the region, but clearly their terror is still being felt here.
