GHF leadership maintains that their aid is not being diverted and that operating in a war zone is necessary to provide food to Gazans, despite the risks. The World Food Program and other agencies have advocated for alternative distribution methods, while the Israeli Defense Forces have acknowledged civilian harm at aid hubs and are investigating the incidents.
