Samsung unveils Galaxy S25 Edge with ultra-thin design

Samsung has introduced the Galaxy S25 Edge, the latest addition to the S25 family. This new device features a notably thin and lightweight design, distinguishing it as the slimmest model in the S25 lineup. The phone offers a large display while maintaining a lighter feel compared to similar flagship devices.

The Galaxy S25 Edge is available in three colors: Titanium Icy Blue, Titanium Jet Black, and Silver. While the device is slightly heavier than the base S25, it remains light for its size, especially when compared to the S25 Ultra. The device also retains a slim profile even when used with a case.

Under the hood, the S25 Edge is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor, the same as the rest of the S25 range. The device integrates AI features throughout, including voice assistant functions. For photography, the S25 Edge uses a 200-megapixel main camera, similar to the Ultra, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a selfie camera with an expanded field of view.

The phone includes a 3900 mAh battery, which is smaller than the one found in the base S25, a trade-off for its slimmer build. Battery life is expected to fall between that of the S24 and S25 models, though not matching the endurance of the S25 Ultra.

The Galaxy S25 Edge is now available for pre-order and launches with a starting price of $1,099. It comes with 250GB of storage, with an optional upgrade to 512GB. Customers who pre-order will receive the storage upgrade at no additional cost.
