The ambitious project aims to bring large-scale high-tech manufacturing back to the United States and aligns with efforts to onshore infrastructure.

Despite the vision, the scale of the project poses significant financial and logistical challenges. Even with SoftBank's substantial assets and history of large investments, the funding required far exceeds its current resources. The initiative is one of several major AI-related ventures SoftBank is pursuing, including a $500 billion Stargate project with OpenAI and Oracle, and a recent acquisition of Ampere for CPUs.
