Qatar Airways CEO Badr Al Mir described the event as one of the most severe operational challenges in modern aviation, with nearly 100 aircraft forced to divert and more than 10,000 passengers affected at Hamad International Airport.

The airline implemented emergency protocols swiftly, managing to clear all stranded passengers within 24 hours. In total, 151 flights were disrupted before operations at Hamad International Airport returned to normal.
