Several lightning-related incidents have been reported across the southeastern United States. In South Carolina, a lightning strike at a lake injured 20 people, many of whom were minors. In a separate incident, a 29-year-old man from Colorado died after being struck by lightning while on his honeymoon at a Florida beach. Authorities performed CPR at the scene and transported him to a hospital, but he died the following day. 

Florida, known for having the highest number of lightning strikes in the US, continues to experience severe weather events. Experts emphasize the extreme power and danger of lightning, which can reach temperatures hotter than the surface of the sun and cause significant harm in a fraction of a second.
