During the hearing, Kohberger admitted to the crimes and confirmed that his plea was voluntary. Prosecutors presented key evidence, including DNA on a knife sheath, surveillance footage, and cell phone records placing Kohberger near the crime scene. However, authorities stated that no motive has been established, and there is no indication that Kohberger knew the victims.
