The owner of the aircraft, Simon Thomas, expressed relief that everyone was safe, noting that the aircraft can be replaced but lives cannot. 

The cause of the emergency landing remains unclear, with no immediate signs of engine failure. The flight was a training exercise that had departed from Shell Harbour and was returning along a scenic route. Investigators have examined the aircraft, and it has since been removed from the golf course.
