The Pacific Northwest is experiencing another round of heavy rainfall as an Atmospheric River event returns to the region. This follows a brief break in wet weather, with saturated ground and high river levels raising concerns about flooding and mudslides.

Snow levels, currently above 6,700 feet, are expected to fall below 4,000 feet, which could affect travel across mountain passes. Flood warnings remain in effect as rivers, which had previously receded, are forecast to rise back to moderate and major flood stages.
