Some workers have stopped working altogether, while others continue to work under stress, fearing further enforcement actions.

Although the pause is intended to reduce fear among migrant workers, many remain apprehensive. Workers and local business owners are concerned that enforcement may shift to other public spaces, potentially impacting immigrant communities and local economies. The uncertainty has led to reduced activity in areas with large immigrant populations, affecting both workers and businesses.
