All Westchester County-owned beaches will be open for the start of the summer season on Saturday and Sunday.

Westchester County has announced the opening schedule for its beaches and pools as the summer season begins. Playland Beach, Glenn Island Beach, and Croton Point Beach will be open to the public on weekends initially, with Playland and Glenn Island Beaches set to open daily starting later in the season. Croton Point Beach will continue weekend-only operations after the daily openings commence at the other locations.

County-owned pools, including the Playland pool, will not open until the following week. Local officials have encouraged residents to enjoy the facilities safely as temperatures rise.
