Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas is implementing a series of improvement projects to address current congestion and prepare for future growth in air travel. Planned upgrades include modernizing terminals, expanding restrooms and concessions, and improving baggage systems. Authorities are also conducting a traffic study to enhance airport access and circulation.

In addition to these upgrades, officials are planning a new supplemental airport between Jean and Primm, expected to open in the coming years and provide additional capacity. These initiatives aim to support the local community, create new jobs, and ensure the region is prepared for increased aviation demand.
