However, based on recent NFL transactions, such as the Philadelphia Eagles and Miami Dolphins, the franchise value is potentially significant. The Eagles are valued at $8.3 billion, while the Dolphins at $8.1 billion, indicating the Giants' stake could be higher given the team's size and stature.

The franchise's partial ownership being sold is 10%, possibly split equally between the Mara and the Tisch families, who are the current owners. This sale aligns with a new rule permitting private equity to acquire non-controlling stakes in teams. Recent instances of sports figures acquiring ownership stakes include the Denver Broncos, Atlanta Falcons, and Las Vegas Raiders, suggesting a growing trend among former athletes.

Eli Manning's potential involvement as a limited partner in the Giants could be one of both emotional and financial interest. While exact plans would depend on negotiations with the current owners, such partnerships often serve to provide financial returns and personal pride rather than direct involvement in team operations.
