Since lifting a months-long blockade, Israel has allowed limited aid deliveries into Gaza through the UN and the U.S.-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), which uses private security firms for distribution at secure sites. The UN and other aid groups have refused to cooperate with the GHF, citing concerns over surveillance-based rationing and neutrality. The GHF reports distributing nearly 850,000 meals at two sites and plans to expand further. Meanwhile, some UN Security Council members are working on a draft resolution to demand unimpeded aid access to Gaza.
