The new measure affects all Canadian canola exports to China, which is the second largest market for Canadian canola and the largest buyer of canola seeds. Canadian farmers are facing significant economic losses, and the federal government has pledged to respond and protect workers in the sector. Producers emphasize the need for swift government action as the harvest approaches.
