Fire crews have mounted an aggressive response both on the ground and from the air, successfully protecting a local high school from the flames. Despite these efforts, the fire remains uncontained, and about 1,000 structures are at risk if the fire continues to spread. Authorities are closely monitoring the situation, especially as hot and dry weather conditions are expected to persist.
