The results indicate that 60% of Gen Z Americans, defined as those aged 18 to 24, expressed support for Hamas over Israel. In contrast, all other age groups showed greater support for Israel.

The discussion highlighted the significant influence of social media on Gen Z, with 74% reportedly getting most of their news from these platforms. Concerns were raised about the long-term implications of this generational shift, particularly regarding future U.S. support for Israel. Efforts by Israeli officials to reach younger audiences through social media have so far had limited impact.
