Celebrities, designers, and fashion enthusiasts are gathering at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City for the 2025 Met Gala. This year's theme, "Super Fine," embraces black dandyism, celebrating black style and menswear. The event is noteworthy as it's the first time in more than two decades that the Met Gala has embraced a menswear theme.

The guests have been showcasing their interpretations of the theme, prominently featuring suiting and menswear, with many opting for bold styles like capes. The theme, "Super Fine," is described as a double entendre encompassing both high-quality fabrics, such as superfine wool, and clothing that allows for personal expression. The gala aims to capture this essence of self-expression in fashion.

Tickets for the Met Gala come at a high cost, with a table of ten attendees amounting to roughly $350,000. These proceeds benefit the Met Museum's Costume Institute. The event consistently raises substantial funds, with last year’s event contributing approximately $26 million.
