Snow will continue to spread into the mid-Atlantic and Northeast Tuesday as Winter Storm Chan intensifies. It will be a slick morning commute for the central and southern Appalachians as freezing rain could result in minor ice accumulations. A few flakes will be possible for the I-95 cities from NYC to Philadelphia down to Baltimore and DC, however most of the precipitation will fall as rain.
