In Iran, an unusual number of businesses depend on the internet. From restaurants dependent on online orders to crypto firms servicing international bitcoin transactions. But for weeks now, internet service has been spotty or entirely gone. There was a time where the internet connection was only national-wide. So only Iranian applications worked. But after a while, via VPN or other workarounds, there was a possibility to get access to the internet again. But still not a very stable connection. As Iran tries to get back on its feet, uncertainties remain. For citizens and businesses alike.
