U.S cities hit by giant rent rises

Internationally, New York, Singapore and London are among the cities that have seen the biggest increases so far this year. Across the United States, monthly asking costs are up 15 percent compared to this time in 2021. Cities like Nashville, Kentucky and Cincinnati have seen rents climb by more than 30 percent. And in Austin, Texas, rents increased by nearly 50 percent.
