In a Friday court filing, the DOJ cited special circumstances in asking for the public release of transcripts. Jessica Levinson is a legal expert. Unsealing this grand jury testimony, if it is ever unsealed, doesn't really give the public what I think they're interested in, client lists, photos, videos, et cetera. Now, it can take weeks or months for a federal judge to make a decision. And if some of the records are released, the DOJ says it would work to redact info on victims and other personal information.
