There were also low-flying Israeli helicopters over this area. Now Syrian officials say Israel is violating the 1974 disengagement agreement between the two countries. There were two lines set up on either side of the border and a buffer zone in between. Now where we are filming now is the furthest we can go where it's safe for us to film. Just over 700 metres to the west of us is an Israeli position, but also to the north of us are Israeli positions. We can see even the Israeli flag flying there. Now these incursions are taking place daily, but this one specifically this morning comes just days after an Israeli incursion and attack on Beijing, where 13 people were killed and over 25 people injured. Now today in Beijing we have diplomats and foreign ministry officials visiting that village, paying their respects to the families and showing their solidarity, but also condemning these Israeli incursions. And that's a strong message from those delegates, because regional powers are supporting Syria. They want Syria to be safe and stable and are helping it try to establish itself on the international stage. Now what threatens that are what Syrian officials call the daily violations of Syrian territory and Syrian sovereignty. And the message from Beijing at least is that Arab leaders, Arab countries in the region stand with Syria, want it to be safe and stable, and the international community need to call on Israel to stop violating and carrying out these incursions on Syrian territory.
