Stocks rally for first weekly gain in a month

What's your reaction is open on the final day of trading call this morning. The markets are a reading, the tea, leaves, a little, I'm positive. I think that, you know, the markets really are based upon expectations and they looking for when they will be the end of the Fed rate hike in cycle. And I think right now the markets have adjusted to the fact that we're probably going to get the FED to stop raising rates in, you know, the early part of Summer. are you said I want to take it back to a couple of months ago, you said that the earlier rally Month. And for the short-term in the future here for the foreseeable future in that 3802 4200 range. And the reason for that, we had a very weak earnings season. We only had 68% of the company's, I'll perform a beat earnings expectations and if you take that back for 6 months, prior was only 42% of the company's beat their earnings expectations from six months prior show, where there's a much lower bar. There was seeing earnings expectations that operating earnings estimates come down over the last couple of weeks and they've been coming down for the last couple of months actually, and now we're sitting SMP operating earnings estimate for 2023 at $290.71. And we think that there's the potential for them to get lower. Until from that aspect. We don't see that there's going to be multiple expand. and so that's why we think that we're going to stay pretty much in this range here, a 3800 to 4200 Christopher Waller out, we had the FED minutes out suggesting that participants were committing to this 2% inflation rate. At know, you said that the FED has a lot of work to do, if they're able to come close to the castle. What's leading you to believe? That's what kind of work do. They have to be done? Here was first start with the core pce core PC is running at 4.7% right now. We have unemployment at 3.4% and in both instances the feds end of the year for 2023, projections are 1.2% galaxy show for court PC either expecting it to be at three and a half percent and they're expecting unemployment to be at 4.6%. Well, when no, where near either one of those and we continue to have substantial wage growth. You look at the Atlanta on fed a waste tracker it's growing at 6.1%. So, as long as People are employed, they're going to continue to spend. We're a nation of consumers and consumption represents about 69 70% of our GDP show as long as they're unemployed as long as their employee. They're going to expand and us going to ultimately drive up to man and drive up inflation. So I think that that leads the FED to have to do more than originally anticipated.
